We are a community of students, faculty, staff, alumni and supporters who are called to follow Jesus in an Episcopal way.
We strive to make visible an active Christian presence on the Stanford campus by providing a welcoming Episcopal ministry through:
Part of our ministry with students means providing a meal for our Wednesday fellowship, Bread and Belonging. Together with local Episcopal and Lutheran churches, 33+ meals are provided to students throughout the academic year. We also offer spiritual nourishment to the community by engaging one another in conversation and by including resources in our newsletter.
The chaplain (known as an advisor to Episcopal Lutheran Campus Ministry on Stanford’s campus) is available to meet one-on-one with students, faculty, staff, affiliates, spouses and other community members. They provide active listening and prayer through times of joy or struggle. You’re invited to a free coffee or meal on us! Schedule a meeting with the chaplain here.
Liturgy & Sacrament
In partnership with another advisor to Episcopal Lutheran Campus Ministry, we invite the community to worship with us weekly on the Stanford campus. We also worship once a month at our Bread and Belonging fellowship. Confirmation, baptism, funerals and weddings may be provided in consultation with local churches and/or the bishop. Our hope is to connect Episcopal students with local churches and communities of faith.
